Sunrise at Turi

On a cheerier note than my last post, I have updated my flickr page for the first time in over a months, so be sure to check it out. I have 32 new photos. These pics are from my visit to Olderkesi (a development project in Massai land), the orphanage at Bosto, our Christmas retreat to Turi, as well as some school events. Enjoy!

Since writing the entry above, we have gotten word that Bob, the research med student, could be on his way out here on a plane.  Please pray that he is--he has been stuck in Nairobi since Sunday and we really want him safe at Tenwek before the rally tomorrow in Nairobi.

I loved the pics, Lisette! You are one brave cook - a LionW&W birthday cake AND gingerbread houses. This "little girls" and I made a gingerbread house this year too (from a kit - not too much work.)

Lisette, are your internet connections down? I anxiously check each day for an update from you. I am thankful I can call your Mom and check on you or I would be really worried what with all the scary news from Kenya. I hope things are going well. I'm glad you got to go into Bomet and that you had others with you for safety. Please continue to take care of yourself -- you are an important child of God and much loved by all who know you.
